Search Engine Marketing Executive

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a process of optimizing your website and your overall online presence to bring more natural visitors to your website by increasing relevance and creating trust. Search engine marketing (SEM) is a digital marketing strategy used to increase the visibility of a website in search engine results pages.  With an increasing number of consumers researching and shopping for products online, search engine marketing has become a crucial strategy for increasing a company’s reach. In fact, the majority of new visitors to a website find it by performing a query on a search engine. In search engine marketing, advertisers only pay for impressions that result in visitors, making it an efficient way for a company to spend its money. As an added bonus, each visitor incrementally improves the website’s rankings in organic search results.

Search Engine Marketing Executives are responsible for managing all paid search campaigns on all major search engine networks. They are responsible for setting up pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns and execute activities such as keyword research, advertisement copies creation, keywords bidding, set-up of advertisement extensions etc. to drive relevant paid traffic to the website or landing pages. The course material has been designed by digital marketing industry experts, who have got more than 5 years of experience in Ad Operations practices and SEO. Duration

The course is a Skill Course conducted on weekdays Monday to Friday.

Theory and Practice, including Project : 240 Hours

Internship : 8 Weeks

Eligibility

Higher Secondary (10+2) in any discipline

Experience : 0-1 year in digital marketing

Course Content

The Course is affiliated to the Media and Entertainment Skills Council, under the National Skill Development Corporation, Government of India.

Internship

Three months of Internship is compulsory for all students undertaking the Course. Attendance during Internship has to be 100%, else Internship may be extended. For students averaging ‘A” Grade in Theory and Practical, a stipend of Rs. 2,500 per month would be paid during Internship.

Placement

Candidates passing the Certificate course would be considered for placements in the In House Broadcast activities and through other companies of repute in the fields of Digital Media.
